Dear Parents:
Welcome to a new school year and to room 103. My name is Dr. Coleman and I am looking forward to an exciting year with your child.I am planning many exciting projects and field trips for the upcoming school year. The first thematic project will revolve around fall, farm, and pumpkins. The project will end with a trip to a pumpkin farm. Upcoming thematic projects will be the family, holiday rituals, sea life, and zoo animals. As I stated at open house I believe kindergarten is a bridge or corner stone foundation block in your child's academic foundation. Since I believe this, my goal is to prepare your child for academic success . As an educator academic success entails readiness in the building blocks of learning: math, litearcy, science, soical science, and acadeemic independence. So get ready for exciting and wonderful school year.
